CRPS comes to the big screen

Charles Mattocks, a film maker and the nephew of Bob Marley, is about to release a new film, “Trial by Fire”, which is aimed at drawing widespread attention to CRPS, a condition which has blighted his mother for many years.

CRPS remains little known and little understood, despite its devastating effect upon the lives of countless people around the world.  Accordingly, this film and any other media bringing wider attention to the condition have got to be welcomed.

Last year, Jennifer Aniston starred in the film, “Cake”, about a woman living with chronic pain following an accident.  Her role in this film earned her nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award and Golden Globe Award.
